The main goal of MIDI Digits is to turn the data from a P5 glove into MIDI controller data.  It provides options for smoothing, scaling,  assignment, soloing, inverting, and more, and outputs as a virtual MIDI port that should show up in most standard audio workstations. 

The glove makes for a great musical controller because it offers a lot of data in a clear way that audience members can see.  You get X, Y, and Z planes of motion as well as individual bend sensors on every finger.
