For those of you who have a Logitech Dual Action Gamepad, this software is for you.  It turns the gamepad into a remix controller whose main purpose was allow you to interact with your laptop as little as possible. 

At it’s heart, Sound Slicer is a 4-track looper.  The gamepad lets you switch tracks, move loop start and end points, speed up, slow down, reverse, and pan these files on the fly without touching anything else.  Now, this is an instrument that takes a little practice because there are a lot of controls.

You can populate the four tracks with sample folders and randomly call in sounds.  Or, you can select specific files for use, and even use your audio input to record in realtime into a track.  If you are willing to actually use the computer though, you can also route each track to 4 different VST effects.  All this with a little attitude in the patch as well. 

Right now this patch only works with the Logitech Dual Action Gamepad.  Enjoy the freedom to make eye contact with your audience.
